Headphones are great sounding and fits nicely. The talk back cable can be annoying at times and with a PS4 it should be wireless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

how do you charge them

It comes with a very long USB cable that plugs into one side of the headphones.

PS4 question

How does this work with the ps4 do you have to use a cable to the controller ? Also could I use this setup just to watch tv when my family is asleep ?
It does require a cable to connect to the controller for other people to hear you. You can not use the cable if you wanted but lose the ability to talk to other people.

You can use it for the TV if it has a Optical audio out port on it to plug in the base for the headphones.

Use while charging?

Can you use the headphones while they are plugged in and charging or do you have to turn it off and let it charge?
They come with a very long cord for charging and can be used while charging. I do not really notice the cable when I am wearing and charging it at the same time.

What's the battery life like on this thing?

Battery life says 14 hours on the packaging. I wear them for 2-6 hours a day depending on the day and only charge it once a week.
