Washer noise- squeal when filling water, crackling sound on spin?

So when this washer fills with water it makes a loud squeal/whooshing noise (Nothing is wrong with my plumbing as the GE washer this replaced made no noise whatsoever). Then on final spin, it makes a crackling sound - sort of like bacon frying. Anyone else have these issues?

I'm have 10 more days to return this and am thinking of switching to electrolux or samsung.
