What's not so great: nothing
Can't complain, it's a powerful business desktop and very useful tablet.
But the docking station for it and it works like a desktop champ!
Buy a typecover and it's the best tablet on the market.

What's great about it: Spacious and nice layout
What's not so great: It is loud and condensation around accumalates around ice maker
Nice unit overall, but I don't remember a unit being this loud since my childhood. I know it isn't just my unit as we have had it replaced due to the door being damaged during delivery and the previous unit was also loud. The ice maker is located inside the refrigerator compartment, and there is a rubber seal that gets full of condensation and then drips on occasion.
This product has... Lots of door storage, Multiple temperature zones, Compact ice maker, An easy to change water filter, No hard to reach spots

What's great about it: versatility
What's not so great: not much, maybe battery life
This is the 3rd Surface Pro that I have purchased for my small office. A simple PC would have cost me $600 a piece and then I would have needed to get something for the mobility end of it for another $700 or so. So I saved $$$ by getting such a versatile unit. When it comes to tablets, it works great! In the office, we used the existing monitors to use them as standard PC's. Only needed to add Bluetooth keyboard and mouse(could have used USB). Looking at buying one of these for my son starting in H.S.

Can I plug it into an external portable hard drive?

Can I plug it into an external portable hard drive? a lot of times people purchase an external hard drive... can one do it for this as well?
Yes, this works just like any other computer running windows 8. The only thing to be aware of is that you can't install programs to the external hard drive, as it won't allow you to run it from there.
