Needed a micro SD card, and this one is fast with lots of storage. A bonus is that I can use it on several devices, and it's perfect with an adapter for other machines, too.

This works exceptionally well with the Surface Pro 3. I like the backlit keyboard, and the tactile key feeling gives me just the right feedback for keystrokes. The keyboard also hinges to give you a slight angle, which I also really like.

I've used the Office suite for years and years, and have been frustrated at upgrades. With a number of laptops and desktop computers, when Office 365 offered a 5 machine subscription with 1 Tb cloud storage for each install, plus web access to the apps as well, it was a very easy decision. If you upgrade with each new version, which if a good idea of you consult and your clients have different versions of Office, the price of the annual subscription is actually much less than 5 upgrades for the full office suite. Plus the patches are just about invisible and very much better than the old way. I really like the way this works.

I've been looking for a tablet and until the Surface Pro 3 none of them had all the features I needed - like USB ports, ability to run a large variety of apps, JAVA (absolutely necessary as a client system requires it), and the like. The Surface Pro 3, with the lighted keyboard cover, has all of these. With Office 365, it's got it all. I tested the i5 and i7 processors and they both are more than fast enough. I've been using it on client sites for 2 weeks now and I'm happy!

Although I've seen the movie before, the 3D version was on sale, and I thought it might be interesting. It certainly was! Some of the images, like the holographic image of the ship, are so much better in 3D. Glad I bought it.

Even though there may be less expensive ink cartridges available, I've used HP ink cartridges in each of my HP printers ever since I had to replace the print heads clogged by cheap ink. There is the added benefit to the HP cartridges in that they seem to last longer than the off brands.

We needed to replace an aging printer, so we looked over the HP multi-function models. The Officejet 5740 met all our needs, plus it has a smaller footprint than the one it's replacing, better print speed and better printer resolution. The added bonus is that it was on sale for an even better price than advertised. What's not to like about that!

The movie is 'interesting' but the audio is so erratic we found ourselves constantly making adjustments. The 'plot' (it's actually generous to call this script a plot) is certainly not all that well developed either. I usually like SF without any reservations but this one just didn't cut it for us. I'll probably watch the special features disc just to see if I missed something, but I'm not holding my breath...

Needed to connect the in car adapter to the new iPhone 6, and the usual adapter didn't work with the new case, which has a small flap to get to the lightening connector. This is just the thing - adapter and extension on a short cable that works just fine. Problem solved!

The new A/V system used up all my component cables, and a new part needed connecting. The part was an component box and was close to the receiver, so I only needed a fairly short cable. I found these at Best Buy and they are the perfect length, plus they are much higher quality than the usual ones in the bag.

Yes. Hope you have the original installation disks or a complete image backup. But cheer up, by the time you're done you have the latest versions of all your software with all the patches!

External SSD Hard Drive
I just finished a search of BestBuy and could not find any external SSD hard drives for a desktop PC (portable not necessary). Lots of external hard drives shown, but none show as SSD. Suggestions please?
Sure - buy an external enclosure and an SSD. Pop the drive into the enclosure, hook it up via the USB connection, and then partition/format the drive any way you need. At the moment, a 1TB SSD is the largest I know of that's commercially available, but I'm sure larger drives are coming soon.

I'm guessing from your question you want to replace an existing hard drive on your MAC. I would highly recommend using a solid state drive - they're faster and much better performing. There are a number of SSDs on the market so it's become a matter of preference. I just installed a 1TB SSD and it's awesome. Check the support web sites for the manufacturer you like, buy the drive and then follow their install instructions to the letter.

I had purshased a WD - My Book AV 1TB USB 2.0 and e-sata expander WDBABT0010HBK to use for FIOS tv and it became necessary to change to directv.

It is very unlikely you will be able to view material you recorded on this WD drive while using a FIOS box when you change to DirecTV. And the bad news is that you probably cannot plug the My Book into someone else's FIOS box and be able to see the recorded material either. Don't know if you can use the MyBook on DirecTV, but you should be able to find that out on their web site - search support for MyBook and see what others have posted.
