These work great and you don't look like a nerd in the over the head style.
I used them ony motorcycle and they pop from the pressure Change so that was a disappointment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

motorcycle use and noise-cancellation performance

Basically, according to the reliable and independent review above, plus all the comments at the bottom, they do not seem to block wind noise at all and also engine noise well. Why did Bose not engineer them for motorcycle use?
I use them under my helmet and they do well but they pop sometimes rather loudly.

How well do they block out the noise of a riding lawn mower?

They were great for any lawn work or even loud tools
