The software that comes with it will not run on Windows 8.1!
Pinnacle support was bs. No support for win 8.1
Best buy would not take it back because the software was opened... How else was I supposed to use it?
The salesperson said it was approved for windows 8.1....bs
The dongle will not work with any other software .
Run away

This camera is a great entry level package to buy. The two lens cover most needed applications. The ability to shoot HD video also is a major plus.
I have $8000 broadcast level video cameras that this keeps up to on video quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!
