Don't know what effect PAL there will have, versus NTSC here. Don't know frequencies, nor channel set up. Can't tell, offer my opinion from experience in USA only. Distance from the TV station is important. Antenna height and direction are important as well. Obstacles play a big role in its reception. If the signal coming in is adequate at the distance you are from the station, and the frequency bands are the same as USA, it should. However, using it inside my house, it has not worked any better than those much cheaper. For 4K, the bandwidth capability needs to be wider than standard 1080p, It performs adequately, however atmospheric conditions cause a lot of signal breakup and interference, as well as obstacles, trees, buildings, and inside or outside antenna height etc. will affect reception. It does pretty good most of the time. But you need to aim the antenna toward the station and get it up to optimum height (you will have to experiment) to get the best reception.
