This ATT&T digital answering system is the best one I've owned: it has the features you want; it's easy to program; and the non-coreded phones work as well as the corded phone, which I like.
Worth the price! and more.

I need a phone that does not feel like a plastic toy

I recently bought a panasonic cordless phone system (not from best buy but it looks similar to the ones listed here). Each hand set is so light that you would think it's a toy. The battery life is horrible. When I try to answer a call from a handset that's not sitting on the base, it reads "disconnected from the base" and it won't let me answer even if it is fully charged. What's the point of cordless handset if you can't even answer a call? I am done with this toy, I am ready to spend more if there is anything more quality out there. Any suggestions?
Get the AT&T digital phone ... first rate and the cordless receivers work superbly, with long battery life.
