I got this when BB had it on sale, I've been looking for a new Sub since my old Definitive Technology one died after 10+ years of service. Just be sure to go into your receiver settings and set your main speakers to "small" or whatever the equivalent is, or the sub just won't put out any sound. Seemed weird to me since I have Klipsch towers with dual 8" woofers so they're NOT small. But I wasn't getting any bass at all, except from the main speakers. Made the change and now I get some real nice bass, just what I was looking for.

Got this as my old router started to die. I live in a smallish single-level townhouse (~960 sqft), so I didn't need the 3-pack. Setup was dead simple, instructions that come with it and on the app are well written and easy to follow. Only hiccup I ran into was when it went to reboot after the initial set up I couldn't connect to it anymore and I thought I bricked it. Turns out my phone jumped over and connected to my Chromecast when it lost the Google WiFi signal. Got the Chromecast unplugged and redid the setup with no issues. As someone who works in IT and has used open source router firmware in the past (DD-WRT and Tomato) I was a little afraid the WiFi would be too simplistic, but in the end I was able to configure the settings I wanted. I was able to set DHCP reservations and do port forwarding for games. It defaults to using Google's public DNS, but you can change it to something else if you want. Only being able to get to the configuration on my phone is a bit annoying, I'd prefer to be able to use a web interface on my computer, but the App is well designed and easy to use. Wi-Fi coverage is good, the puck is in the front of my townhouse in the living room and I get full signal at the back in the bedroom. I like how it does regular checks to ensure my internet connection is good. I've had it for a few weeks now and I'm completely satisfied with it so far. I'd highly recommend the Wi-Fi to anyone who needs a new router and wants something simple that works well.

Good receiver for the price. Picked it up when BB had it $50 off. Would like to have more than 4 HDMI inputs, but that's hard to find in this price range. I can't comment on the 4K aspect, as I haven't gotten a 4K TV yet, but the 1080p picture quality is excellent, I run a Tivo Roamio, new Apple TV, a PS3 and a Fire TV box through it and they all look great. The on screen menu (once I found it) is a bit lacking, and looks like it's from the 1980's. The auto speaker calibration with the included microphone was a nice bonus. I put the mic on the chair I normally sit in and let it go through it's setup. If you are looking for a decent receiver and don't need all the bells and whistles the $500+ once have, this Onkyo will serve your needs well.

I had a 3TB version of this stop working after about 4 years. I was still able to get most of my data off the old one. Needed a new one, BB had a good price on the 4TB version so I picked it up at my local store. So far everything has been great. Fast to transfer my data back to the drive, it's been working speedy ever since!
