I love that this is on wheels so I can wheel it room to room or to the closet for the winter time. It's very easy to move and also easy to put in the window and take back out for nice days when you would rather have a window fan. While I like the portability of the unit it doesn't cool as well as my window unit did. It barely keeps my 200 square foot living room cool, so I would say to use this as a one room only window unit. I've read other reviews stating it can cool an apartment I just don't see how. We have such high humidity so maybe that's why I can't cool as many square feet as someone that might live in a lower humidity area? The unit looks nice, and I get compliments on it's appearance. I gave it 4 stars because it's hard to attach the exhaust hose and it keeps coming off, it threads onto a piece that slides into the unit and it's a thin plastic hose end and it just comes off when I move the unit and it's kind of hard to thread back on. But overall I'm satisfied and I would buy another one if I needed one!

my unit is 2 years old. flexible hose pops out of connections

Is there a way to secure the hose at both ends? It occasionally pops out at the window and sometimes where it is connected to the unit. I have tried taping it but it doesn't last.
Some other brands(newer units) have addressed this problem in their design. Help
I have the same problem and I use duct tape to hold mine in place

How much does this unit weigh?

Weight in pounds.
I'm not sure how much it weighs but once you get it out of the box (I just cut the box around it) it's on wheels. The wheels are already attached so if the delivery driver can set it on your porch or inside your front door you can just wheel it wherever you need it. There's no need to pick it up after you get it out of the box.
