I got this at a steal of a deal, I got a deal of the day for $50. The only issue with the iHome was that it would disconnect from my Apple devices whenever they pause a song for any time greater than one minute or when I left the room. It wouldn't reconnect as it should. This would cause me to have to reconfigure the iHome connection each time. In addition to this, following the directions in the guide and looking up a video on YouTube while matching all my settings to what I was seeing still resulted in no connection between my MacBook and the iHome at all. With the $50 paperweight I decided to return it and purchase a real sound speaker hence the Sonos i3. With my new Sonos speaker I have been incredibly pleased with my purchase and I don't regret it one bit. The six month financing and extended return for the holidays really help me make that decision. This is a speaker System that I not only love but will begin to build upon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No it will not. The device is only for apple products.
