What's great about it: Receives many more stations than my old alarm clock
What's not so great: Top button IDs hard to see
For such a small package, sounds good,
Digital tuning allows me to receive many more stations than my old tuning type alarm clock which became overloaded by nearby, more powerful station.
Digital display brightness adjustable. Nice.
Have not set up blue tooth capability as yet. Use it to wake up to music in the mornings.

What's great about it: Almost completely covers and protects the phone
What's not so great: Somewhat difficult to remove phone from belt clip
The Otter came highly recommended and it seems capable of doing its job. The phone is completely covered when mounted in the Otter except for the camera, speaker, and flash. The phono plug and the USB connector are available through tab openings. When the phone is mounted in the belt-mounted carrier, it is somewhat difficult to remove to use.

What's great about it: Amazing capabilities - Powerful
What's not so great: Lot to learn to be able to use all of the functions
As I said above, the phone has many capabilities and therefore take time to learn how to make use of all of its capabilities. This is my first smart phone and as an engineer, I want to be able to use all of its capabilities. I am having fun learning.

Phone Technology

The recent news (Dec. 12, 2012) on the web stated Verizon was upgrading their Galaxy S III phone to Jelly Bean. Will these phones bought from Best Buy also be upgraded by Verizon? It doesn't appear that your phones already include Jelly Bean.
The Android version on my phone is 4.1.2. I understand that as new versions are released, older versions will be upgraded. Don't know how accurate that information is.

i currently am verizon customer and eligble for upgrade. can i use my upgrade on this phone at best buy and not have to change my current plan?

I did not need to change my plan, but they tacked on a $30.00 2GB data plan.
