Great to setup if you like to just answer questions and let the "genie" do the work. Otherwise, you can choose to setup and customize the router yourself. Supports DDNS but the list of supported servers is very minimal. This hopefully will be addressed in future firmware updates.

What's great about it: Easy to Set up
What's not so great: Doesn't have AP only mode as some other models do
This is a very easy to setup and use WiFi router. It has a wizard mode that will walk you through all the steps, or you can bypass and go into advanced settings. The range of the WiFi is greatly increased, even over the same product from 2 years ago.

will this extend the wifi to another building 300 ft away?
NO!
This does not extend WiFi.
It extends ethernet and only if on the same circuit panel.
Can you turn off the other building power from an electric panel in the local building? If so ... then this will work to extend ethernet.
Then you could put a WAP (wireless access point) to create WiFi in that remote building.

Can you use a 3rd adapter (2nd extension) in another part of your house?
All powerline Ethernet adapter systems require 2 adapters; 1 connected to your router and another adapter where you want the wired extension. My question is: can you use multiple extension points by using a 3rd adapter (or more) in another location of the same house? If so, I assume all extension point adapters would be subject to the limitations of the adapter connected to the router. Would there be any other drawbacks? Would the security feature still work properly? If I live in a single family home do I even need the security feature?

Is this modem a good choice for Time Warner 100 or 200 Mbps internet plan? And will this modem and a 100 or 200 Mbps plan work will with a wireless-N series router (I have a ASUS RT-n66u Wi-Fi router)?
Yes, it works up to 300 Mbps. No sense buying a faster modem, if you don't have faster internet.

Yes.
The Verizon DSL modem might have a built in router ... If so, Verizon can help you disable the WiFi on their system and put the router into "bridge" mode.
