We picked these up for my sons garage and frankly did not expect a whole lot sans the price. We fired up the old Denon amp and these babies came to life. We were stoked by the awesome sound of these things especially since we are both audiophiles. These are perfect for a small room, bedroom, etc. Your teenager will love them too when paired with an inexpensive receiver or amp hooked to their pads. Spotify sounded great also. These are worth more than they cost and I love what they deliver for the bucks. Sound this good has never been this cheap !!!

Great stories, writing, acting, clothing, scenery, etc. What's not to like?
Maggie Smith blows me away. The woman is just awesome !
She is worth the price of admission alone. P.S. If you have not watched the previous seasons, do so in order. You will enjoy it more and understand what is going on.

If you are a Clapton junkie just buy this and enjoy. Great video and sound.
Also has some good content on Eric's last tour in Japan. Very good documentary as well as entertainment.

These are good all around headphones and very comfortable to wear for long listening sessions. If you do not need closed cans and privacy go for some Grado's. They are the best out there for the bucks but the open design is not for commuters.

Are there Bose or any other assesories to make these speakers Active

I have got so used to my Active speakers and I am finding that whilst these speakers are great and best value I have seen on the market - I am missing the extra I get from an active speaker especially the details and the bass range.

Hey Hoss, get a real system for your money and get happy!
It's called Audioengine 2+ for $249. For this low price you get audiophile sound, an amp, speakers, a dac and loads of flexibility.
You will be amazed or I'm not THE DUDE, MAN.

If I was to hook up the speakers to my iMac, how would I?

I plan on just using the speakers for music. If they are not recommend for music what product should I use?

Do yourself a favor and get an Audioengine 2+ system for $249.
This will give you killer audio, great sound, speakers, amp and dac all in one. It truly is astonishing and beats the Bose speakers silly !!!
This little system is not designed for MP3 deaf teeny boppers but real audiophiles. They is not a better buy out there.

use as center speakers

can I pear two of them and use as center speaker

Normally, the center speaker only does midrange so you don't need anything big or expensive. Just buy one inexpensive speaker for this purpose.

You really need a small amp or receiver to do these any good. Buy yourself an inexpensive stereo amp used or online. BB HAS A NICE LITTLE YAMAHA FOR low bucks. Avoid surround, be a man, and get you a starter system Pilgrim !
You could also use an Audioengine 2+ system for $250. This gives you great sounding speakers, built in amp and will run off the audio output jacks on your TV. I own this system for use in my office and it still amazes me with its clarity and wonderful sound.

Will a banana plug fit?

Will a banana plug fit in the back of these speakers? If not which ones will? I don't want to buy regular speaker wire. I'd rather buy wire that already has a hookup at the end of it. Thank you.

Yes, they will. That's what we used.

I was wondering what the sensitivity is in dB?

They are small....don't worry about it. If your amp won't drive these, get a new amp.
