The sound quality was dreadful, as if it was coming through a paper cup. Even on the "dim" setting, the display was so bright it was like having a flashlight shined in my face all night. I returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Backlight Dimmer

I know this clock radio has dimmer control but can you make the display very dim? I bought a clock radio and had to return it because the low backlight setting was still very bright.
