This is a great countertop dishwasher. It does a great job of cleaning my dishes; even stuck on food. It has a number of different settings and is very quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

do you need good water pressure to use this unit?

we have well water, its hard water and the pressure out of the sink is not very good
I have a cistern that is challenging sometimes because of the water pressure but my SPT 22" countertop dishwasher works great.

Can this dishwasher take Finish gel packs detergent?

The manual says you can use gel pack detergents when you use the longest settings. The other settings aren't long enough to completely dissolve the packets.
