I bought the Roku 3 to supplement an Apple TV unit that I have found to be problematic in both channel selection (my cable provider is Charter) and in how it runs. Netflix in particular did not want to stream well on the APlle TV.
The Roku has a much better channel selection, easy to use interface, universal title search across all channels, and streams without problems. The only issue is that some of the apps, most notably Showtime, do not stream in surround sound. Hopefully the app providers will fix this.

This tv was purchased for a vacation home and for the price it was a great deal. The picture is what you would expect from Samsung as are the easy menu and controls.
This is not the extremely thin model, if that matters in selection. However, the picture quality is outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use this Ipad for travel, both to carry entertainment for myself and to handle email and document review/editing while out of town. the battery life is good and the Apply appstore makes this much more functional for my needs than my older Android tablet.
That said, the lack of an external memory slot is still a problem as is the price. I got this on the black Friday sale for $100.00 off list which makes it a little more palatable.

What's great about it: Very good sound, even when mounted nder a metal roof on a patio
What's not so great: They are little large but they are extremely weather proof.
These are good speakers, especially for the price. I got the black ones on sale and they work very well on my covered patio.

What's great about it: great sound, great features
What's not so great: takes a while to get the setup right
I upgraded a non hdmi Yamaha1025 to this unit. I certainly expected the advanced features but sound is what really blew me away. The sound is clean and there is easily sufficient power to run all three zones. It also runs cooler than my old unit. An incredible receiver.
This product has... Plenty of power for all my needs, Interfaces well with TV, Easy to use controls, Good multi-zone capability

What's great about it: works well, quiet
What's not so great: runs often
THis is a good dehumidifier. I have a 600sf basement/garage in an old home and this dehumidifier keeps the humidity low enough to avoid mildew and other issues. This is true even in the hot and humid spring in the south.

Will this work with an apple iPad or Mac ?

It might work with a Mac but an Ipad does not have the required USB port.

Showtimw Anytime

Can you stream Showtime Anytime with Roku 3?
You can if your cable provider has an agreement with Showtime, and I believe most do. Showtime's app is not streaming in surround sound but that is a problem with the app not the Roku 3.
