This was mounted in our new outdoor living room above the fireplace. I'm thrilled that you can watch from the sofa directly in front of the TV (12 o'clock) or you can watch while you are eating (9 o'clock) and 15 feet away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Protrusion?

I would like to mount the tv over a fireplace in a pretty small room. When everything is in the least extended position, how far does the tv stick out from the wall? Does it dominate the space, or is it smooth and compact? Thanks!
It's compact if you have a slimline TV. You'll be pleased!
