What's great about it: Large very legible screen, and good speakers for directions.
What's not so great: Stability. Little top heavy.
I really enjoy the fact that it alerts you to speed limit changes, upcoming grades, and readily identifies which lane to be in. Information on RV parks is very complete and thorough.
This product has... Large/easy to see screen, Easy menus, Lifetime traffic, Free map updates

Is there a setting for the height of the vehicle?

You plug in the ht. of your vehicle, also the width, and length.

Is the RV 760LMT 7" useable in a car or is this unit for RV use only?

Example if used in a car will the unit take the car on RV routes when a different route for a car would be shorter, faster and maybe easier to drive!
It can be used in a car or an RV... you select which mode you want.
