The sound is well balanced - highs and mids are well defined, while lows are good enough to not need a subwoofer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does any 3.5mm audio cable work with this?

i used an unbranded 3.5mm female to male cable to connect the bose to my phone but it doesn't play. only the bose original 3.5mm audio cable works. i need a loner wire than the original one it came with. thanks
