I watched this when it originally aired on HBO and thought it was a terrific show, but the audio quality from the Comcast HD feed (X1) sounded horribly truncated and compressed. I bought the Bluray hoping for sound to match the pictures. I was not disappointed. A must have for U2 fans...

Having owned the original Play 5 for the past 4 years, I was a bit skeptical about the new model, as it had gone up by a hundred dollars in cost. What a pleasant surprise! The new Play 5 is MUCH BETTER than the original! More Bass, More Bass and More Bass! A speaker that outputs higher SPL's than it's predecessor, and has a better overall sonic balance, too. Highly recommended....

will this router work with spectrum cable 100mbps?
Yes. There are other routers with better capabilities, but this unit is fine for average users in average sized spaces. If you are using multiple wireless devices running multiple high volume applications, you might want to step up to something more robust. I bought this to use as a wireless access point for an area in the house with poor WiFi coverage.

Yes. In the settings menu, you can adjust bass and treble, and engage a "loudness" or "bass boost" function.

no a/b switching capability
With the onkyo tx nr 646, how do you actuvate zone 2speakers with no a/b sitching capability?
Zone 2 is a seperate pre amp out. You can also configure Zone 2 to output on the surround back speaker taps, giving you a powered Zone 2. Turning it on and off and selecting sources is done with the remote control. You have to press the Zone 2 button on the remote, then the power buttons, input selection and volume controls are set to operate Zone 2. Check the owners manual. If you don't have it, download it from Onkyo's web portal.

Does this system applify the hdmi signal. Currently have 2 50 ft. HDMI Ethernet cables to a TV. apparently I need to amp the signal.
No. You will need an active HDMI cable. You might also consider using an HDMI balun kit with a single Cat 5 cable. That is what I normally do if I have to run HDMI over longer distances. Snap AV has a good one in their Binary line of equipment. They're not cheap, but they work well and permit transmitting HDMI over distances in excess of 130'.
