I have several sony products and been pleased with the performance and "ease of use" of them all. Setup was simple and picture quality is very good for a TV that was in the 350-400 price range.

I was really impressed when I first purchased the Fire TV, as I have used it I am somewhat luke warm towards it. There were some shows on History I got interested in but now are locked. I am a prime member and don't understand why History would be offered if most content is not available. I do not subscribe to cable or satellite so I was under the impression that I could still watch most of the shows I used to watch on cable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fire vs smart tv?

Is this box essentially converting a HDMI TV to a smart TV? What is the difference between a smart tv and a dumb tv with a Amazon?
DOes it matter how old my TV is to work...as long as I have HDMI? My current tv is about 8
As long as your tv has an hdmi port , Amazon Fire will work
