I bought this RCA - 3-Device Universal Remote to replace my 17 year old JVC remote. It was surprisingly easy to program. I like the size not too large or small. The lighted keypad is good. It is a great little remote for the price you can't beat it.+

I was looking for an inexpensive sound bar for my Samsung TV and to listen to my digital music. This VIZIO - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with 6" Wireless Subwoofer does the trick. I am satisfied with my purchase but not delighted. If you are looking for something inexpensive that is OK sound this will work for you.

What's great about it: Easy to set up and easy to use.
What's not so great: The speaker comes on after someone hangs up. I can hear the dial tone.
I really like this phone. I have not used all of its features yet. However, it was easy to set up. My cell phone connected easily. My cell does not work well inside. This phone should help with that. The buttons are big but not too big, the other Panasonic phone that this one replaces had small handsets. This phone has a good size hand set and it is good looking in every room. So far so good, I am enjoying my purchase.

What's great about it: It was on sale $15.00 off full price. It's a good size for my hand.
What's not so great: Does do work as advertised.
I am usually pleased with Logitech products. However, this M510 mouse is bit disappointing. It was on sale or I would have returned it. I actually would not have paid more than $25.00 for any mouse. The claim to fame is precision and that it will work on almost any surface including glass. It does not work as well as I anticipated on any surface. When I click sometimes, it does not connect. I have to click again. I downloaded the software to see if it worked any better. It did not. It is an average mouse at a premium price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: The sound quality is good. I hoping for better...
I researched many TV brands before I went out to buy. I was looking for a 40 - 43 inch. A smart TV was optional. Samsung did make the top three brands for my price range. I did not want to go cheap but I did not want to spend thousands either. The deciding factor was Best Buy's exclusive Samsung TV pricing. I have had the TV about 6 weeks. I have not explored all the features and apps, etc. However, I am happy with my purchase.

Can you record over-the-air programs by connecting an external hardrive?

I know that in Britain, Asia, and Australia Smart TV's can record by connecting an external hardrive. But, I think there were some restrictions in the U.S. at least until 2012. Did these restrictions ever get lifted and how can we record programming over-the-air? Thanks.
My Tivo DVR works just fine with this Smart TV. It records all programming. I am recording cable not over the air. However some Tivo models do record over the air TV and according to the instuctions all Tivo models work with Smart TVs.
