So far this is a great toaster for the price. It toasts evenly and fairly quickly. As another review stated the toast does get darker with repeated toasting as the toaster warms up but that has been the case with every other toaster that I have had. All that is needed is turning it down a little. The only minor quibble I have is that the marker on the knob for adjusting the toasting time/darkness is just a little circular indentation on the knob and being the same color can be a little hard to see if there is not much light. But for the price it was not worth it taking off a star. I am probably just going to put a bit of whiteout or paint on the spot making it easer to see.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is there to say about a USB drive. It works exactly like it's supposed to so far. The USB 3 connection really is noticably faster than USB 2. Used it to write recovery media for my Toshiba laptop, worked without any problems. A nice thing is the red color. It makes it much more noticable/easier to find in a dark bag or among a dark laptop, keyboard and other electronic black items and you can write on it with a sharpie as well and it will be visible. And since it is the only red one I have it is possible to tell right away which one is the recovery media.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has been working great so far. Came with back up software (NTI) preinstalled and works with both USB 3 and USB 2. It has a little light/led circle that lights up and flickers when backing up- blue when connected to a USB 3 port and white if to a USB 2. Nice small size (aprox. 4"5/16 x 3"1/16 x 3/4") so really portable if needed, probably would even fit into a largish pocket.
The little HDD to USB connection cable is only 18" long so the drive has to stay fairly close to the PC but this has not been a problem.
Very happy with it so far, especially fot the sale price @ the time.

Have not used it long but works as described so far, have not had a surge yet. I have a coulple of Insignia HD radios which have been working very well so I hope this will as well. As stated in the descriptionn it has 11 surge protected outlets with four of them being spaced for transformers. This makes it larger than my old one. First I wondered why it looks/is so musch bigger but the I counted the outlets on my old surge protector and it has only eight. This Insignia surge protector is 11" long by 5" wide and about 1 1/2" high,so it is quite large and somewhat oval shaped (makes it look even bigger) which may be a problem when there is little space. But then it has 11 outlets and they do have to go somewhere.

I had been looking for a HD radio ever since a few years ago the classical station in Milwaukee went of the air and the only way to get classical music was on a HD sub channel of WPR. This is the lowest price HD radio I could find anywhere including the web and Amazon (same model was listed on amazon but for a higher price then Best Buy)
This little Insignia™ - HD Radio Tabletop Radio gets great reception, I use the pig tail antenna which is quite long and can be adjusted as needed. The sound is pretty clear and not bad for such a little radio. I read some reviews complaining about the sound but this is not a stereo unit and for what it is I thought it very good. If you want better sound you can get a little FM transmitter (Got one for a few dollers on line) plug it into the headphone jack and transmitt to any system with a radio receiver. That's what I tend to do when on a music station and have it play through a Bose wave radio (which does NOT have HD). Best of both worlds that way, HD reception on the Insignia radio and better/stereo sound on whatever it is transmitted to.
The only other thing I noticed is that it needs batteries in it to keep presets after being turned off, sort of made sense after thinking about it, also without batteries mine needs to fix on the main station first before being able to tune to it's HD sub channel.
Overall I am very happy with it. This was the second one I bought so I did not have to carry the first one around.

Bagel setting?
I don't see a button/knob for bagels...does this thing have a bagel setting--where only one side toasts?
It has a reheat, defrost, and cancel functions/knobs as well as an adjustment knob for toast darknessbut not a separate bagel setting. Just a tip- If you want/need to toast just one side a pan works great-no need for an extra specialized toaster.

Where is the Owner's Manual?
I know this is kind of a DUH question for this type of product but your website indicates an Owner's Manual is included. We never got one. And where should we put the apostrophe?
Mine did not have a manual either, not sure if any surgeprotectors do (I don't think my old one -different brand- had one either) but if you go to: http://www.insigniaproducts.com/products/home-office/NS-WP4011-WH.html?supportTab=open or just: http://www.insigniaproducts.com/support.html you can find manuals for alot of their products. For the surgeprotector there was only a downloadable warranty PDF but a separate tab has all the specific info.

I don't see where it states that it's UL listed or approved. Is it?
On theback packaging of mine it says C(UL)US Listed. The UL being in a circle.

Yes. I keep mine plugged in. It comes with a plug in cord/adapter.

Feed audio through a receiver?
Can I run a cable from the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the radio to the audio-in jacks on my Sony receiver in order to play HD radio through the receiver and it's large speakers?
I would think cables should work . As long as the Insignia output (Head phone jack) is connected to an audio in jack.
I bought a little FM transmitter (FIFO Transmitter- it takes AAA batteries so there is no need to wait for it to recharge) it has a little 3.5 mm plug.
I just plug it in to the headphone jack on the Insignia radio and transmit the signal to a Bose wave radio. That way I don't need more cables and it works great.
