The product is strong enough for the range of tv's specified but leaves very little room for reaching behind the tv to secure the cables or tilt adequately for proper viewing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Large RAM capacity and HD size
What's not so great: Windows 8 is awful.
The machine if configured with W7 would be hard to beat at the price point. W8 makes life difficult for the average user and actually detracts from the performance of the laptop. I seriously considered an Apple product, before purchasing the unit. The store I was at had a limited selection and was overpriced at the time.
This product is... lightning fast

Depends on the store. For a computer the Geek Squad has to evaluate the unit before accepting the return.
