Best Buy had a 20% off special on inkjet cartridges. It was easy find and select the Canon cartridges online that I wanted to purchase. With the amount that I ordered the shipping was free and the cartridges arrived much more quickly than the delivery time indicated on the website

What's great about it: Ease of set up and operation.
What's not so great: Price
I used the Rocketfish Universal Wireless Rear Speaker Kit with a Yamaha YHT-599UBL surround sound system. The transmitting unit is pretty compact, and you just run speaker wires from the rear speaker output terminals on the receiver to the input terminals on the transmitter. Across the roon the rear speakers are connected to the larger receiving unit, and both the sending and receiving units are plugged into 110v outlets.
The sending and receiving units are paired at the factory, and so within seconds after completing installation and powering up the units, the link was established and the rear surround speakers were putting out sound. The surround speakers for this system are very small and I can't say how well this unit would work with larger speakers that require more power to drive.

Stereo vs. surround sound performance.

I have a Rotel STEREO (NOT a surround sound) amplifier. Two speakers are wired to the front of the system. I want to add two 12-inch B&W speakers to the rear of my living room via a Rocketfish kit in order to create a "quad" system. Are they compatible? How good will the fidelity be? Will there be annoying buzz, hum, etc.?
Wendy,

The Rocketfish works well for me for small surround speakers. The information provided with the unit doesn't indicate the amplifier specs, but it is not very large in size and is probably designed to drive very small speakers typical for all in the box surround systems.

I would question whether the unit has sufficient power to drive larger speakers, and when you say "12 inch" speakers, I can only assume that you are referring to cone size. If the speakers are truly that large, I wouldn't expect the Rocketfish to drive them very well. If you are referring to the speaker cabinet size in some way, then maybe you have a better chance of it working, but even then you might try to get some info from the manufacturer.
