What's great about it: sound quality is phenomenal
What's not so great: don't sweat too much on it
be watchful not to have the cord pull from the ear-phone if using in the gym with weights, i.e., dumbells
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have and Apple but also an Office phone (how versitile can it be?)

I have an apple phone but want the versatility of being able to use it on my land line office phone too. Will they at least work as a regular headset when plugged into a non apple device? ie I don't need the volume ect, just a mic and earbuds.
if just mic and ear buds, then yes; it'll work for products outside of apple too

Is this model MIE2i compatible with the new HTC 8X Windows phone....and do the controls function properly?

I have the new Verizon HTC 8x Windows phone.....looking for a headset to use with this and wanted to know if the Bose MIE2i is compatible and if the controls on the headset will function properly....
Control functions only work it apple products, but the mic works for products outside of apple too
the "i" after MIE2 is short for "iDevices"

Are these sweat resistant?

I want to use these while I cycle but tend to sweat a lot. will the sweat ruin the product?
cut a small paper towel and have it on you to dry it and use your towel to dry your ears
