I bought a WD passport many years ago and it flaked out on me shortly after so I was a little wary to get this one but it's such a good deal price-wise. It has so far worked wonderfully and I couldn't be happier!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this drive compatible with Yosemite?

Yes. I've used it on both our Macs with Yosemite and it works fine.
