Smaller than my old one, but large enough for a regular dinner plate or casserole for 4 people.

control panel very difficult to read

I just purchased the 1.1 microwave oven and am surprised to barely see the numbers and words on the control panel. They are very dark. Is there a grey piece of plastic over them that I am supposed to peel off?

If there is, I haven't found it. I agree the numbers are a little difficult to read.

Is it supposed to be this noisy?

Just received & plugged in my new microwave. I like most of it, now that I see it. BUT, is it supposed to be this noisy when running? Has a *very pronounced vibration sound, way worse than the 12 year old Sharp it's replacing. Tried holding down the metal top and side, no difference. Have I got a lemon?
My fan is a little noisy but I have no vibration sound.

Does the light stay ON when you open the door ?

i.e, after microwave has finished...
The light stays on as long as the door is open.
