I really liked the UI design Asus has come up with (apparently their new Zen UI), but it needs to have a higher-powered tablet to run it, I think. It was a bit sticky and had a few hangups, especially when switching between apps.
Also, I'm not sure if this is true of all of these tablets or just mine, but the screen was really dark toward the bottom where the app bar is, almost like an overall screen gradient. The top of the screen was a bit washed out, and the bottom was richer with a lot of contrast (too much if you held the tablet at the wrong angle). It made looking at the screen a bit uncomfortable.
Other than that, I have no complaints. I realize it is a budget tablet, and not part of Asus' high-end Transformer line or anything, so while some prolems are to be expected, I would argue that the minimum needs to be raised a bit as far as specs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unfortunately, I haven't had much free time to be able to draw with this tablet, but when I have I was impressed by how well the S Pen worked with Sketchbook, even when I was just playing with the floor model at the Samsung station. It also isn't as heavy as I thought it would be for its size - I had had the full-sized iPad in the past, and the Note 10.1 is a bit lighter than the iPad, so that makes it easier to handle before you even add a case

I've only had this TV for a few days, but I love it so far! The sound is really clear and, to my ear, isn't tinny, though if you use the Menu (accessed from the 'Menu' button on the remote) there are plenty of options to be able to change the audio levels. The picture is really clear, and the screen size is just big enough for me to be able to see text and details while I'm watching TV in bed (given the dimensions of my room; those with larger bedrooms might need larger TV screens).

I mostly use this tablet for Tumblr, emails, and other things like that, and it works pretty well. It freezes here and there, but I was anticipating that after watching an unboxing/review video before making my purchase, and the man reviewing it said as much. I owe it to the lesser-powered processors and other hardware, because I can definitely tell the difference between using this tablet and my Note 10.1, as far as switching between apps, loading web pages, etc. It isn't a deal-breaker for me, though.
The only real unsettling thing I've noticed is the random reboots. I've read complaints from other Galaxy users (not just of the Tab 4 owners, but Tab S and Galaxy phone owners), so it might be a bug in this particular Samsung line. It's nothing serious right now, it's just a bit annoying to deal with, especially when it's just sitting there and all of a sudden you hear the Samsung boot-up music.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think only the Tab S line has that option (if you're talking about the cover that snaps onto the back of the tablet). Samsung does sell a case for the Note 10.1, but it's a regular case - it doesn't snap on.

can you use Microsoft office products?
I need to do little office work on the go. Can i download microsoft office?
I know you can download Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, etc onto it (I have) and those programs have options to accommodate Microsoft suite. You could also download Polaris Suite - that came preloaded onto my Note 10.1, and again, it's made to handle Microsoft Suite files.
