What's great about it: I no longer pay a monthly fee
What's not so great: nothing
Motorola - SURFboard DOCS works well. I run a home web server with 20 domains, a email server with 15 users and lots of other stuff. I have not had any problems with several months of use,
This product has... Fast connection, Easy to set up, Reliable connection
I would recommend this to a friend!

What modem will do the job?

We have brighthouse for tel, tv and internet. What modem wld do the job?
I have Ooma for my phone, Directv with on-demand and I run several internet servers (web & email) with this modem. All ports are open, not sure what you are asking? Your internet provider has control of what ports they will open for you.

How many wireless devices (phone, tablet, etc.) can be connected at one time?

This is not a wireless device. It is just a modem. That is why I bought it.
