Wasn't sure after buying a couple different brands and microwaves but I love this. It heats quickly and I made a pizza myself and for the first time it came out good. I would recommend this for people who like the microwave and baking. I had been looking for a long time and thank you finally got one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How many inches clearance from walls and top cabinets?

Wanting to put it in a microwave cubby and wanted to make sure toaster part does not get too hot. I would have a few inches clearance on each side and about 1inch above. (it's not a built in)
1" clearance around your toaster is not a good idea, first you need to have clearance for the vents which should be at least 3".

When door is opened, does the light stay ON ?

Yes it does and also never microwave when empty
