These banana clips are good for medium quality systems. A little on the cheap side, but for the money they do what they need to do.

I purchased this for connecting my iphone to my older outdoor patio stereo receiver system, using itunes. Works just as it should and pairs up nicely with my iphone 6 (and friends' phones), and so far has stayed connected. Good range also, staying connected inside my house at 32 feet away. No complaints, especially for something under $30.

I bought these speakers for an outdoor patio around 50 sq. feet in size. They are powered by a JVC 200-watt receiver. I did not expect much at this price point. They were however louder than expected and do a good job of providing music without too much distortion. Not the greatest sound, but OK for backround music in an outdoor setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How can I tell what end of these speakers has the tweeter?
I just bought a pair (on sale this week 7-27-14 for $59.99) and will post a review later on, but I'd like to mount these speakers in the position that puts the tweeters closer to ear level.
Alas, the grilles are not removable, can't be seen through, and none of the photos of the product show the speakers with the grilles removed, so I can't tell which end has the tweeters. (Even if there was, it might not help because the enclosures are symmetrical.)
So can someone tell me if the tweeter is at the end with the label, or the end with the wire teminals?
(And even if it doesn't help, it'd be nice to see a photo with the grille removed, so we can see what the drivers look like.)

Tweeter is opposite end of where the terminals connect.

Are these speakers "wireless", it advertised as such but no info is provided in the specs
These are not wireless, just plain-old speakers.

Is there a break in period?
I just purchased these speakers and they sound great so far but was wondering if there is a break in period for them. If so how long?
I matched them up with the Insignia 2 channel receiver with built in Bluetooth and am very pleased with this set up.

No break in required, they are not of high enough quality to worry about that.

Do these speaker need an ac power connection?
Have not seen any reviews on how these speakers are connected - I assume they need to be wired to an ac outlook. Also no reviews stating how bluetooth and the built-in wireless perform
These speakers are not bluetooth. They are passive and need to be connected with speaker cable to a receiver or other amplifier (or a separate powered wireless receiver unit, if you want to go wireless). They do not need ac power to operate. You will need a separate Bluetooth receiver connected to your stereo (if you want Bluetooth capability---nothing to do with these model speakers). These are just plain-old speakers.
