I switched my internet to my local cable provider. My desktop PC is on the 2nd floor, my modem and router are on the 1st...and my PC didn't have wireless capability. The WiFi expert at my local Best Buy recommended this tiny device. I was skeptical, but it works perfectly. Downloaded the driver, installed it, plugged the device into a USB port and away we went!

The old Sony 27" Trinitron in the bedroom was dying, so this 43" flat panel looked like it would do the job and more. Only 2 nitpicks: there doesn't seem to be a way to send sound from the TV to my home theater receiver; and I had to call customer service to find out how to display output from my blue ray player.

I am a sucker for this type of movie - Coyote Ugly, Pitch Perfect, and (ancient history) Mr. Holland's Opus to name a few. Show me a character overcoming obstacles to achieve a musical dream and I'm there. Use amazing animation and LOL humor and I'll watch it again and again. SING! fills the bill. I just wished more of the characters/actors had been included in the special features, particularly Scarlett Johansson.

When I first started using my Surface RT, I was having a hard time selecting the proper items on the touch screen. The helpful Best Buy staffperson directed me to the stylus aisle and I selected this. Now I access what I want to first time, every time. And the clip holds it securely onto the spine of my bluetooth keyboard/case.

Do all blue ray players come with a remote - I don't see any shown in the adds
This one does come with a remote. I can't imagine any that wouldn't, but one never knows.

What color is the AC cord with the white unit?
Black cord with white unit won't cut it for the desired use.

How easy is it to work
Very easy - the time sets itself for the Eastern Zone. If you're in a different zone, just select a different button on the back. Setting the alarms is simple, as is tuning in your radio station.

Does the radio have a jack to facilitate use of ear buds in addition to the speaker?
I don't want to disturb my wife when she is asleep and I am awake listening to the radio.

Is the front shiny? or just dark?
The front seems to be a clear piece of plastic (yes, it is shiny but not really obvious) over a black background. The display is so bright that it overcomes any glare I've noticed.

because one of the pictures listed in the slides, shows an antennae, so you might want to remove that picture if it's not of the actual device which I doubt it is.
The unit is not wireless. The photo with the antenna is not the correct item, as you suspected.
