My previous hp deskjet printer died after 8 years of moderate home use. I bought an hp deskjet and returned it because of poor type quality. I replaced it with this model-the Officejet Pro 6230, and am very pleased with its performance. It prints envelopes and postcard-sized items very well and without jamming. The print quality is excellent. The in-text images and charts look great.
The ink is expensive - about 40% more than my older model. I set the print to draft-black only for everyday use to stretch the ink a bit.
I recommend this for a quality printer for home use.

What's great about it: Reliability, auto shut down, power panel
What's not so great: Could use more receptacles
I bought this for my Dell XPS 8500 system. I had a full power outage 2 days ago. Unit worked great. I like the auto shutdown feature. We have frequent brownouts also, and this unit gives me peace of mind. I find the power panel a nice feature to monitor the system and configure the backup.
I would like more receptacles, and would like some of them configured sideways and spaced further to accomodate power supplies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the Pixtor line?
and how does it compare to the Extreme and Extreme Plus lines? The specs sound good, but not sure how it compares.
Also, why is Pixtor not on the Sandisk web site? Seems odd.
