I bought this monitor (along with another) to compare which one would give me a better bang for buck. I chose this over the other and I think the $30 difference was well worth it.
Now I'm not a video editor in the day, nor a gamer at night so I cannot give feedback on how this performs. There are other reviewers who do this on a daily, professional basis so I will refer them for feedback on gaming and graphics editing work.
I did like the narrow edge that gives the illusion of a borderless design. Add the brushed silver stand and you got a classy looking desk (a "Mac wannabee" from another review I read).
I give this five-stars as it fits my purpose. Looking at the other reviews, I think this would work very well when I do get time to play games and photoshop work again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this monitor (and another 27 monitor) because of a great Black Friday deal. I used both for a couple of test runs. Between this and the other monitor, I choose the other, not because this was a bad deal but mostly because of the features (it had DVI but no headphones output). Assembly is simple and straight forward, the monitor height just right.
I used this mainly for work (no graphics editing nor games), I deal with spreadsheets, diagrams, and document reviews. I think the other reviewers will provide their thoughts on how this performs for graphics editing and gaming. For my purpose, I needed the large workspace.
I resold this to a friend and he is happy with it. It didn't come with an HDMI cable only a VGA cable was included. I do regret not having an audio output though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this on Black Friday for $9.99. This will be good for a tablet or small laptop with a charger and a few smaller stuff.
Inside the front administrative area is lined and seams seal-stitched and shows no lose threadings. The pack seems to be able to withstand a light drizzle.
Inside the main carrier, there is a mesh laptop sleeve that can be secured with a velcro strap. The back AND bottom of the pack is adequately padded, but I'd still be careful when you set this down. There is adequate space to hold stuff in.

I haven't used the bag that much, so far it holds. I do feel the straps will be the failure point so don't stuff it too the brim. I think it's just meant for a laptop and a few light-carry items.
Ok to get this on a sale price, but there are better bags out there for $30++. Four stars for the a good bag for $10. One star of for the flimsy straps.
Would I recommend it with the high rating? Sadly, no. There are better durable bags out there for the full retail price.

What's great about it: Priced about right (got it on sale), Portable
What's not so great: None, so far so good
Had one for about 6 months now. Works great on Windows, and my Ubuntu PC (no FS conversion required). I bought a second one of the same item. While portable HDD are getting cheaper, the size (2Tb) will last me for a while... that is until I need to the 4TB or bigger.

Can I use this interchangeably between windows vista and windows 8.1?
I want to back up all my files from an old PC with Windows Vista into this external hard drive. Will I be able to pull out the files using a new laptop with a Windows 8.1 readily or do I need to do any reformatting?
No personal experience on each but I don't see any reason it won't. I use mine between my Windows 7 and Xubuntu PC with no issues.
