This release features the first two installations in the massively successful slasher series Friday the 13th. The first installment was directed by Sean S. Cunningham, and despite initial panning from critics upon its release in 1980, went on to become a cult classic for horror fans. Part II arrived a year later in 1981 and was helmed by Steve Miner and signaled the passing of the blade to one of horror cinema's most iconic villains, Jason Voorhees.

Great tv. Love the picture quality and it is very nice. Only reason why it's a 4 star review because the Vizio cast sometimes gets disconnected and it gets annoying trying to fix it every now and then.

Had the tv for about two and a half weeks and then it all of sudden went out. The tv wouldn't turn on and tried it in different outlets around the house. Finally returned it and the people at the store couldn't even get it to turn on. Exchanged it for a Vizio instead. So far, no problems at all.

hdmi tv, but have older connections
our older tv went out and of coarse going to buy an hdtv. however all of the TVs we have looked at only have hdmi ports. and we are not ready to upgrade the cable to HD. are there adapters for this issue?
