This is a great flash - I use mostly the bounce-flash at home, and this flash has a rotating flash so I can get the right angle when i am shooting pointing down. Beautiful results - a good strong flash makes all the difference in your indoor photos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this compatible with my Nikon D5600? Also, how do you install it? Does the flash know when to go off when I take a picture? Is it hard to program or do I just plug it in? Thanks.

There is a standard flash mount on the D5600 which this flash will attach to. The flash has a small toggle switch to turn the flash on. In default mode, when you take a picture, the flash will automatically go off. It also reads the exposure settings from the camera - so nothing to do there.
Separately, this flash can also be set to Master mode - this flash SB700 comes with a remote which can be used as the camera remote when taking a picture when set to Master mode.
