Sounds like a whole house entertainment system when paired with the SUB. Crank it up and have a dance party or turn it down on "night mode" and not wake your children. Love music and TV now.

IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN PLAY THIS SOUNDBAR WITH OUT DIRECTLY CONNECTING TO YOUR ?TV

Yes. You do not have to connect it to anything to play from the app/phone/other device. Connecting to the TV is great though and the transition from listening to TV volume to music is seamless.
