Exactly what we wanted and easy to use. I highly recommend purchasing the extended warranty because it covers surges, most warranties do NOT and you cannot put a surge protector on washers and dryers. Definitely worth the extra money.

We purchased this radio for my husbands 85 year old father who just wanted something to listen to the am radio stations during baseball season. He is needs something very simple and easy to use or he won't use it. It was easy for him to program, the sound is good, and the ballgame came in well for him.

I can't complain it's not bad the fridge part is great but there really isn't room for 2 liter bottles unless you fold in the top shelf, but then you have to put things behind the 2 liters. The freezer is disappointing, luckily I kept my old side by side so I have enough room for everything.

Does this boombox have a programmable radio? Or should I ask, on the display, can you see what station you are tuned to? Thank you so much for any help!
Yes, very user friendly too. I know this because my husbands 85 year old technologically challenged father tuned it all by himself.

how is the am side
The am side works well. We got one for my husbands 85 year old father and he requires something something VERY simple and easy to use. He listens to the ball games on it and hasn't broken it yet messing with it.

Is the stainless smudge proof?
The sides are smudge proof, but the front is not. However I have tried using Simple Green on the front and it removes the smudges easily.

Does the freezer have wire drawers or closed-bottom drawers? Is there a pocket for pizza?
Yes there is a pocket for pizzas, but totinos sized pizzas, anything bigger doesn't fit in it because of the sliding bin above it, and you can only put 4 pizzas in the slot.
