When streaming music, my headset turns off sounds anytime my hand comes near the side of my head? I don't even touch the device, but the sound still stops momentarily.

Is there any way I can get Caller ID announcing the caller's name INSTEAD of the caller's phone number with the Motorola Boom?
The number must be stored in your cell phone directory. The headset copies your contact directory and if the caller is stored in your phone with a name, it will announce the persons name rather than the phone number.

Yes, it does recognize voice command prompts.

Is this Moto as fragile as some claim it to be?
To purchase this Moto only to have the boom piece break off, even while being constantly fragile with it, seems to be a waste of money...am I correct in assuming that? Is the boom piece really that flimsy?

On the box it is written that this comes with a car charger , but I did not receive one. I bought this yesterday. Is there supposed to be a car charger or not?

No, it does not come with car charger, but it does come with a nice cradle the your headset can charge in. This can be unplugged from wall unit and plugged into any USB port in your car and it will charge that way for you.
