I purchased this HD to SSD swap on my early 2011 MacBook Pro. My MBP was running a little sluggish and this HD has improved the speed a lot. My startup time has gone from 3 minutes to under a minute, and as soon as my screen boots up I can immediately start my browser. If you have a laptop that's running slow a SSD swap is the best and cheapest upgrade you can do, and this HD is the best value when you consider the price.

I understand that a small and large black band come with the special addition. However, what size is the special addition woven band? Or do we also get two sizes of the woven band in addition to two sizes of the black band?

The woven band comes in small and large as well.

Will this work with MacbookPro9,2

Will this work with a macbook pro and if i am using 500gb will i have a lot of space?
This will fit your MBP. But as far as storage goes, only you will know if you can deal with half the storage. As far as how much space you have after the OS install, I have around 200 GB available.
