FALLING
I bought it in january 2014. My WD fall down, and now I cant get access to the data, what can I do? I live in Argentina! Thanks for your help! This is the product I bought: WD - My Passport Ultra external disc USB 30 de 2 TB - black - WDBMWV0020BBKNESN
Contact Toshiba through their main website Toshiba.com (Click on Toshiba for The Americas/Argentina: http://latin.toshiba.com/?locale=es_AR®ion=Argentina) or contact them by phone. If purchased in January of 2014, then it is STILL under warranty (even though the warranty may be void if the product is damaged)! Did you register the product when you first purchased it? If not, do so before contacting Toshiba about the problem. It is not too late to register it. You can do this online through their website. I'm wondering if you meant to say "FAILING" rather than "FALLING" in the question you posted. There is a big difference....because if you dropped the device (as in "FALLING"), the warranty may no longer be valid. But a product FAILURE within the first year would a product defect, in which case you should most certainly attempt to either get your money back, or else request a replacement (REGARDLESS of whether or not you can restore your saved data!!)!! Good luck!!
