Will the SanDisk Cruzer 36 32GB work on the Windows 7 system?
It should I cannot see why not unless the usb on the motherboard is messed up but I highly doubt that

does it work with samsung blu ray players?
i've used a 4 gb sandisk flash drive with my blu ray player for about six months now. in fact i used it so much i bought the 32 gb flash drive. However when i plug it in it doesn't even show the device. is it just not compatible or is there something i can do?
More than likely yes it is not compatible usually, you can update the software on your Blu-ray or it cannot handle 32gb you would have to refer to the manual.

Bought a brand new 32GB, but when inserted into my laptop only one side blinks instead of both sides, is that normal?
yes not really necessary for it to blink as long as your computer recognize it then your fine

What about password protection ?
you can actually set up the file to be password protected if you cannot get the flash to be password protected

compatible with 1.1 usb
yes it is. though it can go faster however depending on what version of windows your running it may not work this is vista and lower
