Used in a 1300 sq ft home, that needed to have internet in the shop a 1/8 block away, this worked great

Will this extender allow smoother buffering for online video games through the TV?

My son likes to play online Xbox and gets frustrated by signal weakness.
Yes it will..whatever the strength of your existing router..this will extend your wifi environment...i have my 360 plugged directly in with LAN, and I play heavy games like gta5, halo, destiny and so forth. Hope this helps you out
