I've worked with technology in home for yeats..installed all of the top name automation systems and made some pretty cool things happen. Harmony (Logitech) has done a great job evolving their product over the years and have made some pretty darn good remotes. The Smart Control is the perfect entry level one room system on the market IMO. If you have a Pro Installer like myself set it (or any others) up you have yourself a painless experience. The installer also can do remote login "only with your permission" to make any changes needed in the future. These remotes have caught some bad reviews.. but from what I have read it's mainly due to people failing to call tech support during programing, they will walk you through the process and make sure it's right. Not asking for a few tips causes the owner to have to live with minor issues from the remote. There are many tricks to making this product work properly and I have many happy clients to prove it.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Yes it works..Yes it's easy to setup. What I'm concerned with is the Elite stamp. For the price range there are way better receivers with more power and better features! This is entry level quality! I'm truly at a loss for words here after the experience I've had with a customers 2nd of this model. Come on Pioneer! What the heck has happened?! No descret Zone controls, set Zone2 to fixed and it still operates on Variable. Standby button occasionally turns Zone2 off even when it shouldn't.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a fire tv pendant 3rd gen that came with an alexa voice remote. Will this remote itself (not a smart phone) be able to access the voice feature on the fire tv?

Okay so how does this work. I have 4 devices, two upstairs and two downstairs. How do i connect my upstairs and downstairs devices to the hub and be controlled by the app? How does the app turn on my tv and receiver upstairs and downstairs?

can this item be used with google home?

It sure can, but you are limited to cetrain commands by the G.H.
