What's great about it: Fast and easy
What's not so great: Limited support
This is a great way to add some streaming capabilities to an otherwise not-so-smart TV. I have about the slowest DSL around, I often get laggy video and buffer waits on the web but the Chromecast streams nearly flawlessly! I get great quality video with almost zero issues, and it's GREAT!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Anyone had problems with the Dynex 32" LCD screen turning green?

Has anyone had any problems with Dynex 32" LCD TV.? The main issue we are having is trying to get the TV repaired. I have never had such a runaround with any manufacture before. When our RCA quit we were sent a voucher quickly once the repair tech determined what the problem was and what it costs to repair. With Dynex, we have had to constantly call to get answers to what was happening. Now after several weeks they want us to take our 32" TV to a repair shop 100 miles away round trip and leave for repair. I would not recommend the Best Buy Dynex TV to anyone. If it comes to warranty forget the service.
Not here, mine has worked flawlessly for 2 years now (knock on wood).

What if both HMDI slots are already taken? :-(

Must this go in the HDMI slot? I have Comcast, which takes up one HDMI, then Roku-which is taking up the other HDMI. I'm thinking of trying Chromecast-which appears to take HMDI (Hence the name! LOL!) My TV has only two HMDI slots, so is there anything I cn do?
To my understanding, there is very little (if any) reason to have both the Roku and the Chromecast as they serve basically the same function. I don't see the Chromcast adding much to the Roku you already have.

Can Chromecast project Google Hangouts

We want to do video and web conferencing in our Office. Are we able to do that with Chromecast?
Yes, it can, though it can be a bit laggy on slower connections. Several methods can be found on the web, some involving third-party apps and such, but the easiest way can be found here:

Can you use your laptop while streaming netflix to your tv?

Can you watch movies on your tv and do homework or browse the internet from your laptop without it appearing on the tv?
Absolutely! Chromecast works in the background, whichever Chromecast app/site you are using can be minimized while you use other windows.
