If someone rings the doorbell while I'm on the phone, will this interrupt my conversation or make any unwanted noise?

Yes ,while used this product i´ll find seriously problems , the video quality is poor , and the funtions or calling are not pratice and finally if you talking far from the base in the same house the calling fail too , really disapointed
