I love this dvd player because you can play 2 different movies. My kids love it and you don't have to spend lots of money. I wish it had a remote and a battery though.

how close do the screens need to be? Can one be used in second row and the other in third row? (van)

It's for the headrest. The 3rd row can see it if they move over to the middle in order to see it.
