EXCELLENT! We've now had opportunity to use all the major features and this stove is a cut above the rest. It heats evenly and smoothly. The convection feature worked better than expected. We just completed a full thanksgiving meal with this stove and had plenty of room in the oven and on the stove top too for all our big pans. One warning though, it's a bit deeper than a standard stove (width is also fractionally larger) and I had to adjust lower cabinet doors to accomodate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Child safe knobs?

I have had a gas cooktop in the past and I'm concerned about the knobs being at child level. Is there some security to prevent children from creating a gas emergency? Or to prevent an adult from just accidently leaning against the stove (since everyone always gathers in the kitchen) and turning on the gas without lighting the burner? I don't understand why gas stoves have knobs at child level and electric stoves have them at the top.
I would not call them child safe. They're standard knobs. The door handle might deter only the youngest of walkers, if at all. Leaners would have the same old problem also.
